Welcome to the Color Theory Guide,

this is a lot of information to absorb and slightly complex but this is our best and most simple attempt to explain how Color Grading works and how we utilize it to create such beautiful Images.

So lets start with the Color Wheel,

You’re probably thinking, Why? I’m familiar with colors…

Well this tool helps us not only reference them in our explanation process of how our color grading can effect these colors, which will give you an idea of the effect it will have on your backdrop, clothes, make-up etc.

which might help play into your over all color scheme or desired effect while it can also give our Color Blind and differently abled clientele a reference as well!

So above is the basic color wheel.

Below we have applied our basic color grading options and their names to the color wheel

this will show each ones effect on them as well as white and black.
